This is the title track for the album that sums up everything that’s going on, and has the beautiful mellowness that’s this album is all about. Endless summers became the idea of the never ending paradise we all longing for. Something we trying to grasp for, but never can reach. The symbol for eternal beauty, harmony and happiness, and the inevitable end of everything. We tried to create something really pretty and beautiful with this song, but it definitely ended up with a sad bittersweet feeling to it. And that really sealed the deal. The track was heavily influenced by Thrice, From Indian Lakes and Radiohead but I think we managed to make it sound like a classic Old Seas / Young Mountains song.

Moonlit Sailor has been one of my very first bands I found in the Post Rock universe. I instantly fell in love with the song Hope the very first time I listened it, I just became happy and hopeful straight away, so thanks a lot for that amazing song !! The rest of the album is also very good and does complete the ambiance around this very unique atmosphere ! Simon Bastien

I first heard Pillars when I attended Post. Fest 2018 to hear Heron play (I have 2 talented nephews who are members of that band). I thought the guys in Pillars sounded tight and awesome. This album, CAVUM, just proves even more so that I was correct! My favorites on the album are Dissolution and Black Prayer, but plenty of excellent sounds here! Kenneth Blick
